Volunteers are being invited to roll up their sleeves this Sunday as the final event of the Great British Spring Clean 2026 takes place across Weymouth.
After an incredible 11 days of community action, 125 volunteers have already taken part in litter-picking efforts to help keep the town looking its best.
Organisers are now encouraging residents of all ages to join the final push, focusing on key areas including:
• Weymouth Harbour
• Nothe Gardens
• Chapelhay
The event is open to everyone, with free hot drinks provided as a thank you to those taking part.
Organisers say the response so far has been “fantastic,” highlighting the strong community spirit in Weymouth and the shared pride in keeping the town clean and welcoming.
With favourable weather expected on Sunday, it’s shaping up to be a perfect opportunity for families, friends and local groups to get involved.
